Event Description
The McLaren Bay Medical Foundation is hosting its 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 9am at Uptown Bay City. All proceeds from this event will go toward the purchase of a state-of-the-art Tomosynthesis 3D Mammography machine, which will improve early detection of cancer and help save lives.
The race will start and finish west of the McLaren Bay Region Uptown building located at 4 Columbus Ave. Bay City, MI 48708.
NEW THIS YEAR! Virtual 5K and Health and Wellness Fair. After the 5K on May 4th, participants are able to register and complete a 5K (walk or run) and submit their completion time. All registrants of the Virtual 5K will receive a running jacket! On Saturday, May 11th from 8am-11am, the Health and Wellness Fair will take place at the Karmanos Cancer Institute located at 3140 W. Campus Dr. Bay City, MI 48706. Attendees are able to have to receive the following screenings/tests: glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, BMI, pulse, body fat, joint test, sleep disorder risk assessment, and many more! Participants of the Virtual 5K are also able to pick up their participation token. This event is free to attend for all participants of the 5K and Virtual 5K!

Registration Fees 5K:
$15 Children ages 18 and younger
$25 Adult advanced registration before March 31st
$30 Adult advanced registration before April 17th
$35 Adult late registration (with t-shirt only if available)
Virtual 5K:
$50
Both 5K and Virtual 5K:
$75
5K, Saturday May 4th:
All advanced registrants will receive a t-shirt.
Snacks and beverages will be provided after the race.
Awards given to top finisher in each age category.
All participants will be entered into a random prize drawings that will take place after the race; must be present to win.
