What's better than getting together bright and early and going for a walk or a run? Walking or running with credit union peeps at the Michigan Credit Union League Annual Convention and Expo to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network!!!

Join the Credit Union for Kids Group Fun Walk/Run hosted by the Mid Michigan Chapter of Credit Unions on Friday morning, June 5th at 6:30 am! 

The walk/run will take place on the Detroit Riverfront, behind The Renaissance Center. There are no major road crossings but with portions of the race running on the road we recommend being attentive to potential traffic. Easy-peasy to find...you'll see us! Walking or running whatever distance or pace you want! 1 mile, 2 miles, 3 miles, we have you covered! You are free to run or walk whatever distance, whatever pace you like! Volunteers will be help you navigate the course! 

So, 6:30 in the morning is a bit too early for you? We totally get it! So, you still wanna help? We LOVE you and have created the "I'm Sleeping In But Wanna Help" distance!! You will still get the shirt and your ZZZZZ's!

This is NOT a timed event and you get to decide how far you want to go!  So, no need to get goofy about your time, just a fun and healthy way to start the day off on the right...foot!  But the MOST important thing is...this is just another way to help raise money for the Children's Miracle Network! 

So here's the scoop:

When: Friday, June 5th 
Time: 6:30 am
Located: Grand Rapids

Distance: However far you want to go! It is a 3.1 mile course; however, we will have miles marked at the ½ , 1 and 1 ½ Miles. Distance is up to you!

The “I'm Sleeping In But Wanna Help” Virtual Run: Pretend you ran with us and you still get a shirt and bragging rights! 

Registration is $30 and you receive a cool t-shirt too!

Additional Donations are enthusiastically accepted!
