Event Description
Dr. Wax Orthodontics is giving back to local schools at our Lace Up for Learning 5K Charity Run/Walk. This family-friendly event will be a morning run through the streets of Downtown Linden on November 2nd at 8:30 am.
Join your community for a well-rounded morning of fitness, activities, and fun for all ages! There will be music, games, inflatables and other vendors after the race so the fun will continue after you pass the finish line!
Don't run or walk? Come and cheer the runners on to support them OR Volunteer for the race route!!
Proceeds will be donated to the local area schools and when you register you can designate what school you want to support (Please specify a school and not just a district). In addition, the school with the most participants will win the School Spirit Award of an additional $500.
PACKET PICK UP: Grab your shirt, bib, and other goodies Friday, November 1st, from 10am-7pm and the morning of the race on November 2nd, at 7:30am at Dr. Wax Orthodontics in Downtown Linden.

When and where do you post the times of the race?
Times will be posted at the Dr. Wax Orthodontics table at the after party in the parking lot at Dr. Wax Orthodontics.
Do you have a map of the route?
Yes, it is posted on the event page and there will be a copy when you pick up your race bag.
Where does the race start?
The race starts and finished on Mill St across from VFW. There will be people to direct you from Dr. Wax Orthodontics to the start point.
When will top runners be announced?
Results will be posted at the Dr. Wax table outside the office at the after party. Prizes for the top 3 runners in all age categories will be announced at 10:45 am. A link will later be posted and shared on the FB event page.
Where is the after party?
In the parking lot right outside Dr. Wax’s office. There will be bounce houses, music, snacks, prizes, and vendors.
What other prizes can I win?
You will receive a card with all the businesses that are joining us for the after party. If you visit them and get your card signed you can turn it in at the Dr. Wax table to have a chance to win a raffle prize!!
