Event Description

Noel's Angel Walk is the kickoff event for the WBEV/WXRO Children's Radiothon. This will be the 11th Noel's Angel Walk. Noel Ann Smith passed away at the age of 12 months and 22 days from RSV, Influenza A and pneumonia. Her parents wanted to give back some of the love they recieved from Noel and the community in which supported them. They organized Noel's Angel Walk in Noel's name to keep her spirit alive and to raise funds for non-profit agencies benefitting children in Dodge County along with increasing awareness for childhood illnesses and prevention information. The walk begins and ends at Waterworks Park in Beaver Dam,WI.  This is the walking route that Noel enjoyed going on in her stroller as a baby. The ending portion of the walk goes along the lake and is a beautiful route. Following the walk stay at the park for a performance by the Beaver Dam Marching Band. There will also be snacks and refreshments provided. By participating in Noel's Angel Walk you will be honoring the children in your life and the memory of children that have left too soon. It is guaranteed you will be walking with an angel.

Event details and schedule

There is a 2.5 mile course, and a 1 mile course, beginning and ending at Waterworks Park in Beaver Dam, WI. The route is marked off.

Walk is rain or shine so dress accordingly.

Packet Pick up and Day of registration 6:00 a.m. - 6:45 a.m. at the shelter

Coffee, water and small snacks provided at registration.

Restrooms available at Waterworks Park & Lakeview Park. Street crossing assistance provided.
