Event Description

Saturday, June 1, 2019  Please join the Mental Health Association of Rockland (MHA of Rockland) on Saturday, June 1, 2019 as we walk/run to raise awareness about mental health, celebrate recovery from mental illness and stomp out stigma! The proceeds of this event will fund our programs, provide education, create advocacy and support services for Rockland county residents living with mental health challenges and their families.  Experience the beauty of Rockland Lake State Park on a Spring day for an event the whole family can enjoy. All participants will receive a t-shirt with registration fee and awards will be given to the overall top fundraiser, male and female runners as well as awards by age group. There will be events for children to enjoy prior to and after the 5k Run/Walk. Food, music, giveaways and a wellness area can be enjoyed by all.  As a special thank you, your registration entitles you to one (1) ticket to a spaghetti dinner at MHA of Rockland on May 31.
