Run For The Cob: August 3rd, 2019

Run for the Cob is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and is part of Sweet Corn Days in Estherville, Iowa!   Thank you for your support!

Start Times

8:00 AM:     1 Mile Fun Run / Walk
8:15 AM:     10K Race
8:30 AM:     5K Race

Registration and Check-in

Packet pick-up and late registration for all participants, in all races, will take place on Friday, August 2nd from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Southeast Corner of the Courthouse square (7th Street & 1st Avenue North).

If needed, you may pick up your packet on Saturday morning, before 8:00 am at the race start.

Race Cost

Standard Registration (Thru July 27th)
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk:   $15.00
10K Race:                      $25.00
5K Race:                        $25.00

Late Registration (July 28th thru August 3rd)

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk:   $20.00
10K Race:                      $30.00
5K Race:                        $30.00

*Due to T-Shirt ordering deadline, T-Shirt sizes guaranteed only until July 15th, so register early.  But t-shirts are guaranteed if pre-registered by July 27th. 

*If you register after July 27th, there will be a selection of T-Shirts available to Late and Same-Day Registrants on a first come - first serve basis

Course Information

Start and Finish:  All races start and end on the corner of 1st Avenue North and North 7th Street (Northeast corner of Library Square).

Age Groups and Awards

Awards will be distributed at the finish line at 9:15 AM:

1 Mile:
13 & Under - Top Male and Female will Receive an Award and Medal

All 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk Participants Will Receive a Ribbon!

5K and 10K

Divisions:  13 and under | 14-19 | 20-29 | 30-39 | 40-49 | 50-59 | 60 and Over

Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female Winners and Top 2 in Each Age Group for Males and Females
