Strikes And Spares meet Stars And Stripes!!!
It's time to dust off your bowling ball and practice for ‘Veteran Bowl-A-Thon’, a bowling tournament, an annual fundraiser for the National Alliance To End Veteran Suicide (NA2EVS.org) and the PTSD Foundation of America (PTSDUSA.org of Pacific Northwest).
Bowling events bring together Teams; from families, friends, co-workers, businesses, schools, military units and various groups from all over. We use the acronym T.E.A.M. as Together Everyone Achieves Miracles and we formally invite you to join us in Saving Lives of our Service Members and Veterans as either a Bowler, a Team, a Sponsor or any combination. Consider that ‘No one can DO EVERYTHING, but EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING’. Your participation in this event could be your something! This tournament will be exciting as bowlers in teams compete to be the 1st and 2nd Place Teams, as well as Best Dressed Male & Female. There will also be team awards for the most money raised for NA2EVS.
The theme for this event is Independence Day, come dressed in your most patriotic outfit!

This event is held at the Prairie Lanes in Yelm WA near Joint Base Lewis McChord in conjunction with the city of Yelm's - Prairie Days event.
Each bowler registers by paying their $30 fee (which covers their bowling and shoes). Each bowler then optionally raises money to help them in qualification round. This site provides each bowler and team a Fundraiser page so that donations are collected online. You will then give your private Fundraiser URL to those you ask to support your goal.
If you can't be with us, consider 'Sponsor a Bowler' (either in memory of or to honor someone special). In this way you allow a bowler to enter that could not normally afford to do so as the $30 covers it all for them. We will use a lottery to choose who is sponsored based on these donation types.
You may create your own teams, or we'll add you to a team as we close registration.
You may also 'Sponsor a Team' of up to 5 bowlers. You then choose to provide the bowlers (from your company or family) or we can fill the team with bowlers via a lottery.
All funds raised from this event, help support our ‘Operation Veteran Freedom’ workshop and various educational and community events that we put on throughout the year.
