Event Description
The Run for Warriors 5k is an annual event created to honor our nation's veterans by supporting the Wounded Warriors Project. In its inaugural event last year, 100% of all registration fees were donated to the WWP. All net registration fees will again be donated following this year's event. The Run for Warriors 5k is ideal for anyone who wants to help veterans regardless of whether being a competitive runner, a jogger or a walker....everyone will enjoy the scenic and relatively flat race route at Katherine Rose Memorial Park.
By joining us on Sunday, 11/10/19, you are contributing to life-changing programs customized to each warrior's specific recovery needs. The Wounded Warrior Project helps these brave warriors thrive in life back home. We're helping our brothers and sisters living with traumatic brain injury, post-traumatic stress disorder, and physical injuries get the specific help they need -- when they need it most. Warriors never pay a penny for WWP programs -- because they paid their dues on the battlefield. With our help, the free WWP services in mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care changes lives.

The race will begin and end on the main pathway near the restrooms and playground adjacent to the parking lot. Parking is available in the main parking lot and across the street at the soccer practice fields.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
8:30am -- final chance to register and pick up packets
9:30am -- Camp Gladiator group warm up
10am -- race start
12pm -- official race closure
PACKET PICK UP:
Packets can be picked up on Friday, 11/8, or Saturday, 11/9, between 10am and 8pm at the Massage Envy in Mansfield located at 1497 Highway 287 North, Mansfield, Texas (287 access road between Debbie Lane and Walnut Creek Drive, by Bed, Bath & Beyond).
COST:
- Early registration -- $30 per person now through September 1st
- Regular registration -- $35 per person between 9/1 and 11/9.
- Race day registration -- $40 per person
RACE HIGHLIGHTS:
- Runners registered by 9/1/19 will be guaranteed a participant t-shirt.
- All runners will receive a small U.S. Flag to carry throughout the 5k and keep as a souvenir.
- Water station will be provided at the approximate halfway point.
- Refreshments provided following the 5k.
- Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.
