Event Description

Join BeyonDriven on May, 25th for the Adults and teens, and 24th for the mini’s MURPH FOR TURF!  A unique fundraiser that will benefit both the service our fallen military veterans have provided, as well as the service Beyondriven would like to be able to provide for the local community.  

The Murph workout  honors Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL killed in action in 2005 who’s heroic story is the basis of the movie “Lone Survivor”.   More specifics about the workout are provided on the Facebook event page.   

To bridge the gap between past and present service, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.  The other portion will go towards improving the youth program at Beyondriven. Specifically installing turf flooring, hence “Murph for the Turf”.

This is a community event, both registrations and donations are appreciated.  Basket and 50/50 raffles will be going on during the event. Every participant gets a Beyondriven “Murph for the Turf” tee shirt.  Both donations and registrations will be automatically be entered into a drawing for a FREE One Year Membership at BeyondDriven, and a drawing for $150 ZYIA Active Gift Certificate.  Zyia Active is an activewear clothing line and its mission is to uplift and inspire our community to get active.

Even if you are not working out, come cheer on the competitors, participate in the raffles, and share some food and drinks with the Beyondriven family.
