Event Description

100% of the proceeds from this 5k run/walk and 1k kids superhero fun run will benefit our pediatric oncology patients and families at UNM Children's Hospital.  Join us for a fun, family event including post-race awards, post-race donuts and coffee, music, and a silent auction.  For the 1k kids fun run, please have your kids wear a superhero costume.  All 5k and 1k participants will receive a race t-shirt.  The top 3 male and female finishers in the 5k will receive an award.

Saturday, September 28th:  Packet Pick-up at Sport Systems

     2:00pm-6:00pm

Sunday, September 29th:  Race at UNM North Golf Course

     7:00am to race time: late registration at UNM North Golf Course

     9:00am: 5k run/walk

     9:45am: 1k kids superhero fun run (please wear a superhero costume or cape!)

     10:00am: awards and silent auction (bring cash or a check and bid on some wonderful items)

The 5k race will start on Stanford Dr., just north of Tucker Ave. and will follow the dirt trail around the UNM North Golf Course.  Parking is available at the UNM Law School.  PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE UNM NORTH GOLF COURSE PARKING LOT, as it is reserved for the golfers.
