Jackson was born February 21st, 2019 to Codi Brandt and Shelby Ward. Shortly after birth he was life-flighted to Sacred Heart in Spokane where he was diagnosed with severe HIE after undergoing cooling protocol. After MRI's and EEG's, Jackson's results were devastating, and Codi and Shelby had to make the hardest decision a parent would ever have to make. After 10 days of life, Jackson passed away on March 3rd.

Codi and Shelby want the world to know what HIE (Hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy) is, and to help give back to the hospital that got them their 10 days with their son.

All funds will be going back to the "NICU Survival Kits" they are making for Sacred Heart's NICU and parents that end up there in complete shock. The kits for moms include general necessities after having a baby, shampoo, toothbrushes, hard candies, etc. They are also making kits for fathers as well.

Donations will also be accepted for the boxes at the race!
