Event Description

It’s once again time to lace up your shoes and get ready to set a personal Turkey Day record in the annual running of the United Way Turkey Trot benefitting the United Way of Bartow County. One of Cartersville’s favorite Thanksgiving week events returns again on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019.  This year’s event will once again be held at the majestic Sam Smith Park just outside downtown Cartersville, GA.  Race Day Registration will begin @ 8:00 AM with the 5K Turkey Trot taking off at 9:00 AM.  

Come enjoy this fast, scenic route encircling Cartersville's Sam Smith Park.  This race is a CERTIFIED 5K COURSE. (Certification # GA18041WC) and thus can be used as a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier.

5K Price is $25 for all pre-registrations received prior to 10:00 PM Sunday November 11 (NOTE: To guarantee your t-shirt size, you must register by Nov. 11th) $35 day-of registration fee.

Event details and schedule

Pre-race Packet Pick-up: Will take place Friday, November 22nd.from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and will be held in the lobby of the United Way of Bartow County Office located at 320 West Cherokee Ave., Suite 109, Cartersville GA, 30121;

Event parking & Race-Day Registration will be located in the large, lower parking lot by the Cartersville Clash Soccer Complex (behind Cartersville Middle School near the bus barn.) Address is 152 Milner Rd., SE, Cartersville, GA 30120.

All runners must complete the attached waiver prior to the race start.
