The main goal of the HAIR PEACE 5K RUN/WALK fundraiser is to help bring awareness and support for autoimmune diseases that result in devastating hair loss. Our inaugural HAIR PEACE 5K RUN/WALK will be held on October 20, 2019. Many people live with an Autoimmune and Connective Tissue Disease and hair loss that resulted from this disease. Join us as we help raise funds for hair prostheses ( WIGS ) for women and men who have suffered devastating hair loss from autoimmune diseases.
Join us October 20, 2019 at 7am for The HAIR PEACE 5K RUN/WALK. This year's walk will be held at the Miramar Regional Park, located at 16801 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33027.
Sponsorship opportunities are available. The success of this fundraising event depends on the generosity and support of people like you. The 2016-2017 and 2018 was a big success, and this year participants are registering early, so register early to ensure a spot.

About This Activity
The main goal of this run/walk is to help bring awareness and support to those who live with autoimmune diseases that result in devastating hair loss. This life changing event bring people together to celebrate the lives of those currently battling an auto-immune disease, remember loved ones lost, and help to raise funds for hair prostheses (wigs) for women and men with hair loss due to an autoimmune disease(s). Specifically, we’re bringing awareness to Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. We invite walkers, runners, joggers, and rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs) of all ages to come out and participate. Even if you can’t join in the race, come support a great cause and have a good time doing so!
Package pickup for Hair Peace 5K Run/Walk will be updated closer to the Day of the Race.
Hair Peace Run/Walk 5K Loop course will take place inside the Miramar Regional Park. Our certified 5K course is a flat quick race for avid runners and walker from all walks of life.
Volunteers will be there to direct your path on the course.
Runners will enter from the north side of 172 Ave
Post Race
Your Medals will be waiting for you at the finish Line!
