Event Description

Celebrate Independence Day with a morning run/walk in Breckenridge, MI. There will be an 8K course for runners and a 5K course for runners and walkers.

The race starts and ends at Breckenridge High School, 700 Wright St., Breckenridge, MI. Packet pickup and day of registration starts at 7:00am. The race starts at 8:00am.

Awards for top Male and Female finishers: overall, 19 and under, ages 20-29, 30-39, and Masters group (40 and over).

$20 per person until June 28. $25 after June 29 and on Race Day. Tank tops given to participants as supplies last (based on registration date).

All proceeds go to support the Breckenridge Area Action Committee and the work they do as a committee of the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce to support businesses in Breckenridge and Wheeler.

BE ADVISED: The Race Director reserves the right to change this to a virtual race in the event of emergency restrictions due to the COVID-19 virus. Of course, we would greatly prefer to see everyone on the course on July 4!
