Event Description

Join us for our 6th Annual Spiro VFW Post 4884 5K/10K! This is a USATF Sanctioned and Certified Course.  The 5K will be an out and back going west on 6th St that turns into Highline Rd then comes straight back.  The 10K will turn south on Denver Ave and take 5th St east until you reach Elm. You will then turn south on Elm and make an immediate left onto Lakeview Dr. that will take you around to the lake.  You will enter the north side of the Spiro Lake area and run south on the trail.  Once you reach the turn around and will run back around the north and and east side of the lake.  It's a beautiful scenic run around the lake! Once you reach HWY 271/9 you will turn west and run along the highway until you reach Main St. and then turn right/ north until coming to the intersection of Main St. and 2nd St were you will turn right/ west and run until you reach Alaska Ave. Once on Alaska Ave you will turn right/ north and go until you reach 6th St. and turn right/ east to finish in front of the post!!!!

Awards will be given for the following in both 5K and 10K

10 and Under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
