Event Description

A benefit to support Heartly House - Frederick's only provider of comprehensive support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and child abuse. Heartly House is celebrating 40 years of providing support, safety and empowerment to victims.  We need YOU to join the celebration - Walk a Mile in Their Shoes, our annual awareness event will be capped off with a ROCKING concert at the Carroll Creek Amphitheater.

Your participation will support Heartly House services including: 24-hour hotline, crisis intervention, counseling services, emergency shelter, medical accompaniment, victim/court advocacy and community / professional education and outreach.

Registrants- You are encouraged to seek support for every step you take as you walk a mile down Frederick's historic Market Street and back to the Carroll Creek Amphitheater for live music, food trucks and craft beers. Invite friends to join your team - there will be prizes for the individual and team who raises the most money and your registration gets you free admission to the concert.

Registration begins at 11AM.  Walk to begin at Noon.  Children 12 and under are free.  Same day registration will be at the Carroll Creek Park Trellis on South Market Street.
