Goathead Century Ride

Ride begins and ends at Freedom Park in Hanford, CA.  It provides an  opportunity to do either a century, metric century, or 35 miles.  Century riders will be going through Hanford, Lemoore, Kingsburg and Visalia.  Those completing the 45 mile ride will see Hanford and Lemoore, and those riding the Metric Century will see Hanford, Lemoore and Kingsburg.  

Cost includes SAG, a meal and t-shirt.  Pre-registration is $50 until 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at which time (8:01 PM) the registration increases to $60.00.

Event details and schedule

Ride starts promptly at 7:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 - rain or shine.  Basic SAG will be provided by Kings County Velo Club or the Hanford Kiwanis Club.  KC Velo Club or the Kiwanis will not perform major repairs.  Rider is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of their bicycle.  Please plan for hot conditions later in the day.  Riders will receive a map and route sheet with stops identified.  Riders must wear a ride bracelet to receive services.  The bracelet will be issued upon arrival, on ride day.  The course closes at 5:00 PM.  Riders who cannot complete the course by 5:00 PM will be offered a SAG ride to the start/finish and will be on their own if they opt to continue on the course.  Rest stops close based on riders being on schedule to complete the course by 5:00 PM. 

Registration fee is $50.00, if submitted by 8/21/19 8:00 PM; $60.00 effective at 8:01 PM till the day of the ride.  (Tandems Fee is per rider, same as above).  Fee includes cost of SAG, t-shirt, and after ride meal.
