Event Description

No one loves brunch like Charleston! Please join Charleston’s own roller derby league, The​ ​Lowcountry​ ​Highrollers​ ​ on October 19, 2019, for a 5K race followed by brunch done right. Many favorite local food trucks and brunch vendors will be on hand, serving up some delicious delights. For the 21+ crowd there will be tasty Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's.

Bring the kids along for a 1-mile fun run, and a FREE kid zone that will include face painting, jump castle, and bubble ball fun.

The​ ​Brunch​ ​Run​ ​5K​ ​​is a certified, timed race beginning in Riverfront​ ​Park​, located at 1001​ ​Everglades Avenue​ ​North​ ​Charleston ​ ​SC​. Registration prior to September 1, guarantees a commemorative race medal and coffee at the start. Commemorative medals available after September 1, as supplies last. Event T-shirt is available to add on. Trophies will be awarded to the first woman, man, and child (under 12) over the finish line.

This year proceeds from the race will benefit The​ ​Lowcountry​ ​Highrollers​ ​Roller​ ​Derby​ ​League​ and their charity of choice, Camp Rise Above​.  Camp Rise Above is a unique non-profit organization that provides fun, life-changing camp experiences to children with serious illnesses, life challenges, and disabilities right here in the Lowcountry.  All of their programs are provided free of charge as to not add to the financial hardship many families in these difficult situations already face. All donations made during the registration will also go directly to Camp Rise Above.

Participants can also help Camp Rise Above by donating an item from their wish list, during our supply drive on race day!

While we all love our furry four-legged friends, please note, that for security reasons, dogs will not be permitted at the race.
