Event Description

Join thousands of other walkers and runners in your community in this time-honored, family friendly Thanksgiving morning tradition and kick off the holiday season in a healthy way!  The 49th Annual Turkey Trot is a 5K and 10K race and Kids' Trot on November 28, 2019 at the Northeast Family YMCA. Start time is 8:00am for the 10K race & 8:15am for the 5K race and the Kids' Trot begins at 9:30am. Make it a family affair by signing up your kids in the Kids' Trot.

COMPLIMENTARY CHILD CARE ON RACE DAY:   We are pleased to announce the Northeast Family Y’s Adventure Center will be open from 7:00am to 12:00pm to provide child care for race participants. There is no charge to runners or volunteers for this great family service. The Adventure Center offers a wide variety of interactive games and activities. This is one of the many attractions the Northeast Family YMCA offers to our members and to our community.

SHIRTS & AWARDS
All participants in the 5K & 10K will receive a commemorative race shirt.  To guarantee you'll receive your shirt at packet pickup you need to register by November 20th.  Those registering after 11/20/19 will still receive a shirt but it won't be until after a supplemental order is placed after the race.  For both the 5K and 10K race, medals will be awarded to the winning male/female by age group and top 3 males/females for the overall race.  Age group awards can be claimed at our awards tent following the race.
