Event Description

Take part in the inaugural Forever Lions 5K during Homecoming at Mars Hill University. The race begins on the beautiful campus of Mars Hill University and follows a loop through the town of Mars Hill. The race is open to all! Enjoy this inaugural race no matter your pace. All participants receive a tri-blend, moisture wicking T-shirt. Race proceeds benefit MHU Health, Human Performance & Recreation students and the Lions Athletic Club.

Before the race begins, enjoy the Mars Hill farmers market and other vendors on the campus of Mars Hill University. After the race, there will be information booths and vendors available on the quad.

Parking is recommended on the east side of Moore Auditorium and west of the Madison County Visitors Center. A map of campus is available at https://www.mhu.edu/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Campus-Map.pdf The lot being described is pictured in grey at the corner of NC 213 and College St. 

Hilltop Cafe in Day Hall on the campus of Mars Hill will be open to spectators, supporters, or anyone wishing to grab a cup of coffee during the race.
