Event Description

Lace up your sneakers and join Sheppard Pratt Health System for our 6th annual Stride, a chip-timed 5K and 1-mile family fun walk. The Stride takes place on Saturday, October 12th at our Towson Campus. All net proceeds go to our Patient Care Fund to support our programs and services.

After the race, join us for the family-friendly Stride festival featuring live music, activities, bounce house, face painting, and more!

ENTRY FEES

Timed 5K:
$30 adults until 8/15, $35 adults until 10/11 ($40 on race day)
$10 for kids 12 & under until 8/15, $15 until 10/11 ($20 on race day) - discount from regular price will be applied at checkout

1-Mile Walk:
$20 adults until 8/15, $25 adults until 10/11 ($30 on race day)
$5 for kids 12 & under until 8/15, $10 until 10/11 ($15 on race day) - discount from regular price will be applied at checkout

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick-up Sessions to be announced.

Register by September 25 to be guaranteed a race t-shirt. Shirts are not guaranteed after this date.

Registration: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

Entertainment: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

5K: 8:30 a.m .

1-Mile Walk: 8:35 a.m.

Awards and Festival: 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Why Stride?

Take it one more step! Every dollar raised makes a difference. Raise money individually or join a team to raise funds and awareness. In previous years, your generous support has provided collaborative working and learning spaces in our special education schools, and made celebrations like prom and graduation possible for teens in our residential treatment center. Patients in our day hospitals have also started their own community garden thanks to donations from the Stride.
