Event Description

Start your 2019 race season off right with the tenth annual Winterläufe 8K! The first road race in the Frankenmuth Jaycee Race Series typically takes place the first Saturday in February and takes runners on a scenic tour through the beautiful countryside and over the historic 1904 Gugel Bridge. The USATF-certified event concludes with a festive awards ceremony. The Winterläufe is hosted by the Frankenmuth Jaycees, and all proceeds go to charitable causes.

2019 marks the seventh year for the Frankenmuth Jaycees Race Series, which includes the Winterläufe, Volksläufe and Brückeläufe races. If you participate in all 3 races, you will be awarded a specially-designed finishers medallion at this year's Brückeläufe Awards Ceremony held in October.
