Event Description

Babcock Ranch will host its third Jingle Bell 5K on Sunday, December 15 at 8:00 AM.

Babcock Ranch is America's first solar-powered town located in Southwest Florida.  It will eventually be home to 50,000 residents.  The Jingle Bell 5K race will start and finish in downtown Babcock Ranch. The course will be the same as our very first Jingle Bell 5K and will wind through Dick Cuda Trail, some of the most beautiful views in the area.  Runners will enter Sunset Park via the newly dedicated Dick Cuda Trail, once only around the lake, and exiting the lake path to run through our main Babcock Ranch entrance and over the iconic Babcock Ranch (flat) bridge. The race will finish in downtown Babcock Ranch, overlooking Lake Babcock and next to our boardwalk, and our wonderful bandshell.  We will have post-race food, plenty of shade, plenty of liquid refreshments and an awards ceremony with the overall winner, masters, senior masters, senior grandmasters, and 3 deep in each age group in 10-year increments.

Event details and schedule

-Please arrive by 7:30 AM.  There will be ample FREE parking if you arrive by 7:00 AM.  The main entrance to Babcock Ranch will close 10 minutes before the race starts, at 7:50 AM.

-The 5K race starts at 8:00 AM and will start close to Founder’s Square, downtown Babcock Ranch.

Run through the finish line and finish in Founder’s Square, next to Lake Babcock and our beautiful bandshell.  LIVE music, food, and drinks at the finish line. 

-Awards ceremony to commence at  9:30 AM

Please be aware that December can present with inclement weather in Florida, so please dress appropriately for the conditions.

Awards to Male and Female, Overall Winner, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Grandmasters, and 3 deep in each age group in 10-year increments.
