Event Description

Join us for the 6th Annual Never.Give.Up. Walk/Run for Suicide Awareness and Prevention. This year’s event will be held at Tapley Park in Wadena on September 21 with registration starting at 8:00 a.m. with the run/walk starting at 9:30 am. 

New this year is a 1K Fun Run for ages 12 years and younger. The 1K Fun Run will begin at 9:00 am. All 1K Fun Run participants will get a medal for participating with a trophy awarded to the top boy and top girl. 

There will be concessions by WDC students/staff, a silent auction and special guest Michael Langseth from Youth Frontiers will speak after the run.  

Suicide has hit our local communities hard. We can make a difference with your help. Never.Give.Up. has raised over $86,000 in 5 years through this event and the generosity of sponsors. We'll see you soon!

Event details and schedule

Registration begins at 8am; if you've preregistered there will be a separate line to pick up your T-Shirt.

The 1K Fun Run begins at 9:00 am. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:30 am. 

Concessions will be available all morning.
