The 7th Annual Hometown Hope Run, hosted by the Gospel Rescue Mission in Muskogee, will be held on September 21st at the Gospel Rescue Mission's new location at 323 Callahan St. There will be a 1 mile Fun Run/Walk and a chip timed 5k on a USATF certified course - CLICK HERE FOR COURSE MAP
This is race is sanctioned by the United States Track and Field Association (USATF) and medals will be awarded to USATF Standard Age Groups (Every 5 year Age Groups) for the 5k race.
Key Dates and Details:
- 5k Cost Info: Pre-registration fee is $25 until Sept 12th. September 13th to race day is $30
- Fun Run: Pre-registration fee is $20 until September 12th. September 13th to Race day is $25
- Fill the Fridge Challenge: Runners are encouraged to bring a food item that needs to be refrigerated or frozen. These items will go out to those in need through GRM's food assistance program. The Individual or team that brings the most cold food items will win an award.
- T-shirts: Guaranteed for all who sign up before the price increase on September 20th. Shirts after that are first come first serve.
- Packet pick up/Late Registration: Available at the Gospel Rescue Mission (323 Callahan Muskogee, OK) the Friday before the race from 12:00 to 6:00 pm. Packet Pickup and Registration is also available on race day starting at 6:30 am.
