Event Description
Join us for a fun day of running/walking, entertainment and remembering those who have battled cancer. We welcome ALL survivors whether you are newly diagnosed or 20+ years in remission. Come be our VIP's. We will have breakfast and a goody bag for you including a FREE Survivor shirt.
Come remember a loved one at our Luminaria ceremony and decorate a bag that will be illuminated at dark in their honor. We will have a silent lap with a bag piper to remember those lost.
We will have awesome bands through out the day, raffle items, games and activities. This is a fun family-friendly event for all ages!
Event details and schedule
Saturday Sept 21st
6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Gates open at 6:30 a.m./ Registration and Bib pick up for 5K participants starting at 7:00 a.m.
- Vendor set up per contract 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
- Make announcements for runners/walkers (script to follow)
- 5K will start at 8:00 a.m.
- Raffle tickets will be on sale (per Debbie VCPA will sell tickets)
- Note: Each participant of the 5K will be given one raffle ticket
- Teams will have their fundraisers set up
- Pumpkin Patch open
- VCPA escort Survivors to Survivor tent for t-shirt and gift bag
