A one of a kind race starting at midnight on Black Friday!
Don’t want to fight that late night/early morning black Friday shopping crowd? Come join us at Falling Springs for a 5K run starting at 12 AM. Special prizes/gift spread out along the race course. Special Black Friday shopping specials at local businesses available only to participants.
Our inaugural Black Friday Mission Run 5K will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 12 midnight at Falling Springs Recreation Center (Versailles, KY).
Commemorative long sleeved glow in the dark T-shirts, chip timing, overall & age group awards and special shopping deals from local businesses. We'll also have a team competition and team pricing (Teams of 5 or more save $5.00). Race proceeds will benefit the Tates Creek Presbyterian Church Mission Fund. Each year TCPC sends teams from the Lexington area to the following countries Belarus, Africa, Scotland, and Mexico.
For the safety of all HEADLAMPS ARE REQUIRED to be worn by all participants.
PACKET PICKUP Our race packet pickup will be held on Wednesday, November 27th from 4-6pm at Fleet Feet Lexington at The Summit at Fritz Farm.
VIRTUAL RUNNER/WALKER OPPORTUNITY If you are from out of town or will be out of town or would just rather sleep instead of run at midnight but still support our cause you can register as a VIRTUAL RUNNER/WALKER. For a $30 donation we'll mail you your commemorative race shirt. Then if you want you can run/walk your own Mission Run 5K on your own schedule.
