Event Description

Please join us for a fun 5k run/walk down Rockvale Road in the beautiful historic scenic community of Rockvale to help support the new Rockvale High School Rockets!!! Funds raised from this event go to support the Rockvale High School Rockets Athletic Department and the JROTC program.

The Rocket RuckIt Challenge with the Tennessee Army National Guard will be a challenge for time to complete the 5K while also carrying a “ruck” or backpack that is weighted. Competitors under 150 lbs will carry a 20 lb weight. Competitors over 150 lbs will carry a 30 lb weight. Competitors are required to bring their own pack and weight which will be weighed at registration/check-in on race day. Register before December 1st and save!!! EARLY BIRD ENTRY FEE:$25 

5K/RuckIt Challenge  Start Time: 9:00am

Start Line: Rockvale Community Center on Rockvale Road.

All ages are welcome. Strollers are welcome but please lineup towards the back of crowd. NO PETS (service animals welcome)

There will be finisher medals and T-shirt’s for all participants.

Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall(Gun start)

This is a rain or shine event. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. In case of inclement weather, race will be rescheduled if possible. No bib transfers will be allowed.

Packet pickup for friends or family require a copy (or picture) of their driver's license with permission letter, email, or text. No exceptions.

Early packet pickup will be March 19 & 20. Locations will be announced a later date.
