Event Description

Come out to Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, GA and support Family Promise of Gwinnett County, Inc by running or walking in the Run for a Reason 5K sponsored by Ordner Construction  The race will be run on the paved trails of the park.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 8AM

5K: Starts at 9AM

Awards:  Awards will be presented in the 5K to the top 3 Overall Male and Female and top male and female winners in age groups.

Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, and www.athlinks.com.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those registered by 11/2/19. Registrations after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  Plenty of post-race refreshments (drinks, fruit …).

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race Series.

Proceeds: Family Promise of Gwinnett brings the community together to help families regain their housing, their independence, and their dignity. FPGC is a partnership of congregations within a community helping families who are facing homelessness. It offers an opportunity for volunteers of all faiths to end homelessness one family at a time. Their mission is to mobilize communities of congregations that partner with social service agencies to end homelessness – one family at a time.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
