Event Description

We are continuously monitoring the everchanging COVID -19 situation to make any necessary changes. Registrants to any races that have been affected will be emailed with updates.

Time:                9 a.m.

Location:          Start & Finish - Boyne City Community Pavilion

Distance:          5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.  The 5k and 1mile will be started in separate waves.

Entry Fee:          Individual Entry - $25 pre-registration (1 - t-shirt), $30 day of event. 

                           T-shirt guaranteed if entry form received by November 18, 2020.

                           Extra t-shirts will be available for purchase @ $15 each while supplies last.

                           Packet pick-up day before event from 2-6pm @ Stigg's Brewery in Boyne City - $2 off any Stigg's Pint!

                            WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER CHIP TIMING THIS YEAR BUT WILL HAVE A RUNNING CLOCK AT THE FINISH!

Our Purpose:  All proceeds from the event go directly into Kiwanis Club of Boyne City Foundation account.  Kiwanis Clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child, and one community at a time.  100% of the money raised from this event will stay in the Boyne City Area!

To comply with Executive Order 2020-160:
For Regions 6 & 8, “(b) Notwithstanding section 7(a)(4) of this order, an outdoor social gathering or outdoor organized event among persons not part of the same household is permitted in Regions 6 and 8, but only to the extent that the gathering or event does not exceed 250 people and complies with subsection 7(a)(1) and 7(a)(2) of this order.”  The 250 person event maximum includes participants, staff and spectators.

We, respectfully, ask participants and spectators at races to maintain six feet (6ft / 2m) distance from anyone outside of their family group. 
We require racers and spectators to bring masks to wear during registration / check in. We recommend wearing a mask during the race if you are unable to maintain at least six feet (6ft / 2m) distance.  Do not race if you are exhibiting signs of COVID-19. Symptoms of COVID-19 may include: 
 
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea​​
