Event Description

Join us at Inner Circle Family Martial Arts Center in Portland  for a high-intensity coed self-defense workshop  that will teach you practical, highly effective techniques to protect yourself and your family from a variety of threats and situations. You'll learn a number of powerful strikes, blocks and self defense techniques to help build your skill, confidence and situational awareness. This is a hands on workshop that's perfect for ages 14+. Cost is $20 each. Workshop runs from 6-8 pm and fills up quickly.  Wear sneakers and workout clothes. 

100% of the proceeds will go to the Sunshine Kids program. The Sunshine Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982 the Foundation is committed to providing quality group activities and emotional support for Kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America. And right here in Connecticut.  Michael Pelton has been kind enough to donate his time/studio and his expertise in self defense.
