Event Description
The best run-bike-run athletes in the United States will head to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on May 30 & 31, 2020, for the USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships. Athletes will have the opportunity to race for national titles in three duathlon races, with distances estimated to be an 8.45-kilometer run, 39-kilometer bike, and 4.5-kilometer run for the non-draft standard distance, and a 5-kilometer run, 18.2-kilometer bike, and 2.85-kilometer run for both the non-draft and draft-legal sprint distances. The draft-legal sprint national championships will take place on May 30, with both non-draft national championships taking place on May 31. All races will qualify top athletes in each age group to represent TeamUSA at the ITU Duathlon World Championships. For further information on TeamUSA qualification, please click HERE.
