Event Description
Make plans now to join your friends and neighbors for the 12th annual Laurel Park Turkey Day 5K/Fun Run for charity. Strollers and leashed dogs welcome. Free babysitting provided.
Who: Anyone who wants to eat turkey and dessert later in the day, no matter how young or old.
What: 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K Run/Walk
Where: Race day registration will be at the Laurel Park clubhouse. Race will start and finish by the tennis courts on Georgetown Dr.
When: Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28, 2019)
Fun Run: 8:30 am 5K Run/Walk: 9:00 am
This race will not be timed.
100% of all entry fees will be donated to the Junior Charity League of Concord. We will be collecting toiletries and socks for the JCL Clothing Room. For every 5 items donated, receive a ticket for a raffle basket donated by the JCL. Items needed include:
- FULL SIZE toiletry items: bar soap, shampoo, deodorant, individually packaged toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Socks (boys, girls, men, women)
We will also be collecting 15.2 oz cans of GREEN BEANS for Jimmy Murphy's Christmas. Help us reach our goal of 1,250 cans!!
Entry Fees: Adults 13 and over ($20), Children 6 - 12 ($15), Children 5 and under (Free, does not include a shirt)
*Same day registration is available - entry fee will increase by $5 for all age groups*
Register by November 14 to be guaranteed a shirt!
Race Packet Pick Up: Laurel Park clubhouse Nov. 27 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm or Nov. 28 from 8:00 – 8:30 am
