Event Description

The South Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s 3rd Annual 5K/Virtual Walk/Run for wellness will take place along the beautiful Hollywood Beach Boardwalk to support the Lupus Foundation of America/Florida Chapter, March of Dimes, and South Broward Alumnae Chapter Community Projects.  The South Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. strives to raise awareness about the importance and benefits of a healthy lifestyle by developing health-focused programs within the community we serve.  This year's 5K will raise awareness and proceeds for the Lupus Foundation of America Florida Chapter, Inc., March of Dimes, and SBAC community events.  Participants will gain a broader understanding of both the signs and symptoms of lupus and the prevention of premature birth.  Representatives will be on site to provide literature to race participants and attendees on lupus/premature birth.
