Event Description

Foot and Ankle Physicians of Ohio is proud to present the first, annual Grove City Firecracker 5k - an event that aims to be more than just another road race.   Our mission is to fuel the movement of inclusion; grow a sense of community; and continue to fight for advances in pediatric medicine.  Taking inspiration from the positive work being done in the spirit of the “Inclusion Revolution," Foot and Ankle Physicians of Ohio hopes to build upon that momentum and enact awareness within the greater Grove City community.

Whether you are running for time or looking for a way to jump start your Independence Day celebration, this 5K race if for you!  Strategically laid out on the Pinnacle Club Golf Course and Pinnacle Club Drive, this course challenges both the competitive and recreational runner/walker.  The Grove City Firecracker 5K also features a 100 meter "Sparkler Sprint," perfect for kids ages 3-9.  All participants will earn a complimentary Grove City Firecracker 5K t-shirt.  Proceeds of this race will benefit the Elizabeth Dean Foundation supporting Unknown Pediatric Pathology.
