Event Description
Run, walk or hop in this inaugural event on Prevention Day to XYZ.
Join us for the inaugural Prevention Day Bunny Hop & Hunt 5K on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at 9:00am at The Club at UK's Spindletop Hall.
Our race features a chip timed 5K run/walk event, a Kids 1/4 Mile Bunny Dash and an Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds at historic Spindletop Hall. Registrants for the 5K and Kids Dash receive a commemorative race T-shirt. The Easter Egg Hunt (10:15am start) is a free event but kids must register so we have a good head count. We'll have vendors, face painting, public service vehicles and more. For the 5K we'll provide awards for Top 3 M/F, age groups and largest and fastest team (Teams of 5 or more).
FORM OR JOIN A TEAM AND SAVE We encourage you to start or join a team to ramp up your fun. Teams of 5 or more SAVE $5 on each registration. In addition any team of 5 or more will be eligible for our "Fastest 4" team competition. For this we'll score/add the lowest 4 team times in the 5K to establish a team time with the lowest team winning a prize. There will also be a prize for the largest team.
VIRTUAL RUNNER/WALKER OPPORTUNITY If you can't join us in person for the race consider registering as a virtual runner/walker. For a $25 donation we'll mail you your commemorative race shirt and bib and you can run/walk/hop your own 5K in your own hometown on your own schedule.
