Event Description

Now in our 26th year, please join us for our first ever Leap Year 2020 Tom King Classic! Event features a Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk, start and finish at Cornelia Fort Airpark.  Due to the major league soccer schedule and their exclusive use of the Titans Stadium, we've reversed the route and will S/F from the airpark.  Each race is out and back over certified and flat courses with the Half Marathon route taking runners thru Shelby Park to downtown Cumberland River east bank and back via Davidson Street and the paved Shelby Bottoms Greenways. 

Celebrate your accomplishment with post race food and awards in the venue hangar and expo. Please note: Due to parking limitations, the Half Marathon and 5K field combined is limited to 800 participants (This is a major change from previous years). Guaranteed shirts for registrations by 2-14-20. No pets allowed due to liability. 

Event details and schedule

Early packet pickup will be Friday afternoon 2/28 from 3 pm - 6 pm, location TBD. Race morning packet pickup beginning at 6:00 AM. Please bring photo ID when picking up your race packet. Same day race registration will be available until 7:45 AM. 

Race Morning:

8:00 AM - Start Half Marathon / 8:15 AM - Start 5K Run / Walk

Half Marathon course closes at 11:30 AM

Parking is free both Friday afternoon and race morning in Cornelia Fort Airpark grass lots.
