10th Annual Sturgeon Shuffle 5K Run/Walk 10K Run

10K Start:  9:00 am

5K Start:  9:10 am

Join us in celebrating the 10th year of the Sturgeon Shuffle! We are especially excited that both the 5K and 10K courses return to their origin on County Highway X just west of New London which will be closed to traffic during our events. The courses run parallel to the scenic Wolf River during the time of the year that historically sees the unique "running" of the sturgeon.

Presented by First State Bank, the Sturgeon Shuffle is a family-friendly 5K walk/run and a 10K competitive road run open to all levels of athletes. Both events kick off from New London Middle School and are fully chip-timed (start and finish).

Proceeds raised from the Shuffle will benefit backpack programs in our community and region including:  Project Backpack New London, Project Backpack Waupaca (serving Waupaca, Manawa, Weyauwega-Fremont, Iola-Scandinavia, and Amherst school districts), and Rapids Family Backpacks (Wisconsin Rapids School District including Rudolph). These organizations are working hard to stamp out hunger in our schools.
