Event Description

Join us for a 5K and 1 mile Fun Run to help raise money for Levi Brooks. Levi is the son of a Gwinnett County Firefighter, Chip Brooks, who suffered a brain injury due to a rare condition called Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) which ruptured (like an aneurysm) in his brain at the age of 9. Levi is now 11 years old and on his road to recovery but we are raising money for the family to buy a wheelchair van for Levi and to help with medical funds. Chip and his wife, Sara, have a total of 5 kids and they have to take two vehicles everywhere they go. While Chip is away on his shift for 24 hours at a time, Sara is unable to go anywhere because they can not all fit in one vehicle with Levi's wheelchair. 

If you are unable to participate due to being out of state or being on shift at the fire department, we would like to invite you to a virtual race where you will run wherever you are in support of Levi.

All participants will receive a free t-shirt and finisher's medal for participating.
