Event Description

Join us for the Inaugural Goodnight-Loving 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon Run hosted by the historic Fort Belknap and the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Graham, Texas!
The Goodnight-Loving 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon will be an out-and-back run from the entrance gate of Fort Belknap. This historic fort is the birthplace of the famous Goodnight-Loving Cattle Trail that blazed its way through the Wild West up to the Montana and Wyoming territories. We invite you to enjoy the all-day celebration with live crawfish boil, farmers market, Official Texas State Longhorn herd, bloody Mary bar, and live music!
**Concert by legendary Red Dirt Country band - The Damn Quails!!** Presented by De La Cruz & Reddell, PLLC
 
All runners should plan to be at the start line no later than 7:45 am for the Half-Marathon and 10K, and 8:00am for the 5K.
 
Swag
Each athlete registered prior to March 15 will receive Goodnight-Loving swag including:
  1. 1 Plate of Crawfish
  2. 1 Drink Ticket
  3. 1 Goodnight-Loving Run T-Shirt
*10K Participants will receive the above items, plus 1 Goodnight-Loving Run Coffee Mug
**Half-Marathon Participants will receive the above items, coffee mug, and 1 Finisher Medal

Timing and Results
A timing chip will be attached to the back of your race bib. In order to receive an accurate finish time, please confirm your bib is attached to the FRONT of your shirt and is clearly visible. Do not remove, alter or tear the tag in any way. Timing Services will be provided by AllSports Timing. Results posted at www.allsportstiming.com after the race.
 
Aid Stations
Aid stations will be located at approximately every mile throughout the course with water, sports beverages, protein snacks, and port-a-johns. 
 
Safety & Weather
In order to ensure the safety of all runners, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, baby carriers, and dogs are prohibited from the race course. This is an out-and-back course on FM 61, which does contain a few mild incline hills. It is VERY important for you to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones and obey all race and traffic signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.
Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable.
 
Directions
From Graham: Head north on Elm St toward McKinley, Continue onto US-380 W, Turn left onto US-380 W/Houston St, Turn Left onto FM 61 E, arrive at Fort Belknap on the right. 
From Wichita Falls: Follow TX-27 S to TX-251 S in Olney, Follow TX-251 S to US-380 W/Houston St in Newcastle, Turn right at the 2nd cross street onto US-380 W/Houston St, Follow FM 61 E to Fort Belknap
FM 61 from Graham to Fort Belknap will be closed for the race****
