Event Description

We bet almost all of us ran cross country at some point in high school. Don't you want to relive your glory days and run another cross country meet? Maybe you're still in high school and want one more chance to set a PR for this season. Well Fit & Able has your back with the Fall Cross Country Festival!

This isn't just another 5K and 8K! You can race as teams too as if you were at a cross country meet. Both individual (Top 3 Male/Female Overall and Top Age Group) and team (fastest team, biggest team, best team costume) are up for grabs. So whether you run, walk, roll, or stroll there's no excuse to not step up to the starting line!

The Fall Cross Country Festival is also benefitting A New Lease on Life. A New Lease on Life assists those experiencing homelessness to get back on their feet through stable housing by providing an available apartment home at a reduced rate over a 12-24 month period. The program offers a hand up to those in need. Our purpose is to provide an essential need through stable housing thereby allowing these families to establish up to 2 years of positive rental history thereby allowing them to remain as market renters or in some instances to purchase a home of their very own.

Their Mission Statement: Empowering those who are experiencing homelessness by equipping them with opportunities to obtain stable housing.
