Join Fairfield Parks & Recreation for our First Annual Beach Bunny 5K on Saturday April 11, 2020! This family friendly run/walk takes place through the picturesque Beachfront Neighborhood of Fairfield, Connecticut. From the 5K to the Family Bunny Hop, the Food Trucks to the Children's Easter Egg Scrambles, this event will be fun for the entire family!
The mission of Fairfield Parks & Recreation is to provide quality leisure opportunities in safe, clean and healthy facilities, and to offer comprehensive inclusive programs at a reasonable cost for residents of all ages. The recreation team has been working hard to develop the wide variety of programs, special events and classes that our residents have come to love!
With everything from program-favorites like our Summer Camps and Adult Softball Leagues, Tennis Clinics to Stroller Strides... we pride ourselves on creating recreation opportunities for every member of the family! Fairfield Parks & Recreation is also proud to create a calendar of free community activities and events throughout the year including our Memorial Day Parade, Independence Day Fireworks, Sand Jam Movie Nights, Concerts on the Green, S'mores Sundays, Peanut Butter Jams, Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Breakfast with Santa. All proceeds raised from the Beach Bunny 5K will be used to fund future Parks & Recreation programs and events.
