Event Description

The Hell Hole Gator Trot is the oldest 10K race in the South Carolina Low country.  The Gator Run is a 10K loop through the Francis Marion National Forest starting and finishing in Jamestown, SC.  The course is one half on paved and one half on dirt roads.  The Gator Run is affilated with the world famous Hell Hole Swamp Festival.

We are located at the intersection of Highway 41 Highway 17-A so make plans to come out and enjoy.

 

Large (actual) gator-head trophies will be given to the M/F overall, masters and grand maters divisions.  Smaller gator-head trophies will be given to five age group winners both male and female, ages 10-14 through 74-79.  The champions will be invited to ride in the back of a pick-up truck, adorned in Gator Run banners, during the Hell Hole Swamp Festival parade which immediately follows the Award Ceremony.  The champions will be given Mardi Gras style beads to toss to the crowd during the parade.

Event details and schedule

Early Packet pick-up will be May 1st at Blue Sky Endurance 725 Coleman Blvd. #116 Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 from 3pm - 7pm.

Race day packet pick-up will be May 2nd at Hell Hole Inc 116 Steel Shed Lane Jamestown, SC 29453 from 6:00 am - 7:45 am.

Parking is at Hell Hole Inc 116 Steel Shed Lane Jamestown, SC 29453.

Please bring your ID for packet pick-up.

The 10K starts at the intersection of Steel Shed Lane and French Santee Rd go straight and turn right onto Simmons Rd and then another right onto Tiger Corner Rd and then another right onto Hwy 41.
