Event Description

This is an unbelievable route! Start in downtown Deer Lodge, Montana and finish at the Philipsburg Brewing Company in downtown Philipsburg, Montana. The route covers 50 Kilometers of rugged terrain with the apex being Racetrack Pass at 8,600 feet. This race has it all...farmlands, lakes, mountains, alpine, ghost towns, wildlife, road, dirt road, single track, and off-trail adventures. Nothing is missing.

There will be three aid stations along the route. Each station will include hydration, snacks, gels, first aid, limited shelter, and communication. The central aid station will also serve as a runner drop station where you can leave items, or have items that you drop off with us at the registration awaiting your arrival. Some people like to have a change of socks, favorite snack or gel, clean shirt, shot of whiskey, can of beer, cyanide pill, or other personal items at the midway point. We will supply an official "drop bag" at registration.
