Event Description

This is the 1st Annual Chick-fil-A of the Big Country Race! We are thrilled to offer this race opportunity with both a 4-mile race option and a Kid's Fun Run. After the races, we'll be hosting a Fun Day for all participants and families to enjoy! 

The 4-mile race is one of the longer distance races hosted in Abilene and is perfect for anyone who is training for long-distance running, wanting to challenge themselves in 2020, or just wanting to have fun in the outdoors -- all while raising funds for updated resources and facilities for students to engage in reading and learning. 

We would love for you to join us as we partner with the Abilene Public Library, raising funds for literacy opportunities for students of all ages.

8:00 a.m. 4-Mile Race Begins (Adults)

9:15 a.m. 4-Mile Race Ends

9:15 a.m. All volunteers for 1-mile race in designated spots

9:30 a.m.  1-Mile Race Begins (0-12 age)

9:45 a.m. 1-Mile Race Ends

8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Family Events and Games
