Event Description

Join us for the 1st Annual Furry Scurry! This event will be hosted at Village park in Forsyth, IL. The start will be by the tennis courts at Village park. On site registration will begin at 8 am on January 25th, 2020 with the race beginning at 9 am. A back up date has been put in place in case of weather and that date is February 1st, 2020. The race is dog themed and we encourage all participants or bystanders to bring their dogs with them. As well there will be a local pet shelter on site of the race with adoptable pets for anyone who does not own an animal. Anyone who registers before January 15th will be guaranteed a shirt. Anyone who registers after may still be able to get a shirt but the process may cost more. You will be able to pickup your bib, shirt, and timing device all on the day of the race. At the race end there will be granola bars, bananas, and water bottles for runners. As well we plan to have a local coffee provider on site to give anyone a warm beverage on this likely freezing day. Ten percent of all the proceeds we raise will go to Second chance a dog shelter based in Clinton, IL. The other amount will go back to the students of CEO in our individual business by the end of the year.
