Event Description

Our race has gone VIRTUAL!! Due to the COVID-19 concerns, it is best for us to do a virtual race to support Asher! There are too many logistics to work through at this time and we definitely don't want to waste funds when they are needed to support our cause. As a race director, I will miss seeing all of you at the finish line and the excitement we all feel on race day to support such a great cause together. I encourage you to still get out there and run/walk a 3.1 mile, so we can still support Asher's fight. Grab your friends and do a walk at a safe distance apart. You do your run or walk, outside or on the treadmill. Take pictures with shout outs to Asher, take a picture of your tracking app and send these to me at muscat5@verizon.net. Post using the hashtag: #WeRunforAsher  I can be at the race site on April 18th to manually time you running our usual course as well! Follow our Facebook page: Cartersville Baptist Missions. 

With the race going virtual, we have 3 registrations levels as follows:  $15 registration-no shirt needed; $20 registration, a shirt that can be delivered in person or picked up in Cartersville; and $25 registration with shirt that will need to be shipped.

Our run takes place in beautiful Cartersville, VA with the 3.1 miles taking in views of the James River and the quaint village. Our 2020 race will benefit baby Asher, a 4-month old born with CHD and requires extensive surgery in CA. Our proceeds will go towards medical expenses incurred during this and future surgeries.
