Event Description
The Olpe Downhome Fun Ride will begin and end at the Olpe High School rear parking lot near the softball field in Olpe, Kansas. This is a gravel road mountain bike ride that travels through the southern portion of the beautiful Flint Hills. The two distances start together for the first mile then split in opposite directions.
Event details and schedule
The Annual Olpe Downhome Fun Ride is a gravel road mountain bike ride which will begin and end at the Olpe High School rear parking lot near the softball field in Olpe, Kansas. Check-in begins at 6:00 a.m. and the official start time is 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 11th. Participants may choose from either a 22 mile ride or a 40 mile ride (approximate mileage). SAG stops will be located at approximately the halfway points. SAG stops will have bottled water and fruit for riders. Please bring at least one water bottle and flat tire repair gear. Helmet use is mandatory!
To receive a Fun Ride T-shirt, your registration and $30 fee must be received by July 1st.
