Event Description

Your favorite holiday event in Red Lodge is back this year with a new owner. Don't get your feathers ruffled, the Turkey Trot will be just as you remembered! A free, family and dog friendly run/walk at the Rodeo Grounds in Red Lodge. The course is a 3-mile, double out and back which makes it perfect for the 1/2 trot option as well. Even though there is no cost to participate, we ask that all participants sign up online (or in person on event day) to ensure they are covered under our insurance and we get an accurate count of participants.

Well behaved dogs welcomed on a leash, please bring poop bags! We will have a dog handler volunteer outside of the building to hold your dog while you register or grab post-event snacks as dogs are not allowed inside. 

Strollers are welcome, please check the weather prior to the event to ensure your stroller tires are adequate!

We will do our best with what Mother Nature delivers so plan on warm weather, cold weather, or who knows what kind of weather! 

All donations will go to BareTooth Cupboards. We ask that all participants bring a nonperishable food item, full-size new toiletry or pantry item, or a cash donation.
