Event Description

The 2020 Fairfield Country Day 5K run/walk is proud to benefit CT Challenge/Mission. This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing mind-body health and wellness programs for those impacted by cancer. 

The race and walk will take place on the roads surrounding our campus -  one of the most beautiful areas of Fairfield and Connecticut with its rolling hills, awesome foliage, rich history, and quiet streets.

Our events include a computer timed 5K Run/Walk, a 1.5 Mile Walk (untimed) and a Kids Fun Run.  The run, walk and kids committees, sponsors and volunteers truly appreciate you choosing to be here with us. 

If you are busy and can't join us, don't fret! You can also participate as a "virtual" runner/walker or as a donor. We invite the virtual runner to register but run at a time and distance and any location that works into their schedule. We will send you our commemorative T-shirt to acknowledge your run and your generosity!
 
We will distribute awards to the overall 5K male and female champions and the winners of our age groups. More prizes may be added as participation numbers increase. Age groups: 9 & under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
 
We do offer a reduced fee for participants 18 & under so please be sure to look for the age group pricing when registering.

There will be light snacks and post race fluids. There are bathrooms- please arrive ready to run. Parking details will be sent in a race "premail" a few days before the event.
